Situation
Romsdalsgondolen - Norway's longest commuter train - transports you 708 meters above sea level while enjoying a 360-degree view of the majestic peaks of Romsdalen.
At the top station you can enjoy a fantastic dinner at Eggen Restaurant which is built entirely of wood.

For the spectacular project Romsdalsgondolen, Splitkon has designed the supporting structures, as well as delivered glulam and solid wood. The building consists of a cafeteria, party hall and start / stop house for the gondola lift. Total size is 2000 sqm. Splitkon has delivered about 500m3 glulam and solid wood.

Solution
SFS has delivered fastener to the wooden structure at the top station and the restaurant. WT-T and WR-T screws have been used here for joining and reinforcing glulam and solid wood.
